Use Case title: User accesses data stored in the grid

Short description: The process of accessing a data file stored in the K-Wf Grid data storage

Actors involved: User

Pre-conditions: User has knowledge of the file’s Logical File Name (LFN)

Steps:

  1. User accesses the UI
  2. User opens data management tab of the UI, and enters the LFN
  3. The LFN is resolved via a RLS server, and a set of GridFTP URLs is displayed
  4. User accesses one of the GridFTP URLs
  5. The file is downloaded via GridFTP
