Use Case title: Integrating an small/medium research resource center

Short description: An small center (<100 cpu) would like to participate and share resources.

Actors involved: direction of the center, their managers, EGEE ROC support

Pre-conditions:

  • At least two or three different teams in the research resource center are involved in national or international collaborations and would like to share resources

Steps:

  • The direction of the center contacts EGEE ROC and agrees on support (contract?)
  • The VO that will be supported are defined
  • The service machines to access resources are provided, authorization and authentication system is defined and agreed
  • The project is “integrated” in an existing framework (for example EGEE)
  • Researchers in the center are trained by a contact defined in the resource center
