Use Case title: Running gLite and GOS middlewares in a IPv6 network.

Short description:

Actors involved:

Pre-conditions: The middlewares’ code is available to check the IPv6 compatibility.

Steps:

  • Design and develop the testing tools needed to verify the IPv6 compatibility;
  • Execute the testing tools;
  • Interact with the middlewares developers to remove the IPv6 incompatibility;
  • Deploy the updated IPv6 compliant middlewares;

Post-conditions: The IPv6 incompatibility will be removed by the two middlewares.

Middleware: A new version of the middlewares IPv6 compliant is expected at the end of activity.
