Use Case title: Installation of a Grid Site in China or Europe.

Short description:

Actors involved:

Pre-conditions: WP2 carry out studies on the available and foreseen network connectivity promoting new high-bandwidth links between Europe and China, WP5 identify and contact relevant communities in China that can take benefit from the Grid infrastructure.

  • Certification
  • Production
  • Test
  • Deploy

Post-conditions: New scientific communities are joining to the e-Infrastructure promoting the e-Science paradigm. Expanding the user community means that they will be able to disseminate the grid knowledge amongst their colleagues and then creating a “chain reaction”.

Middleware: New Grid site installations are performed installing EGEE gLite Grid Services.
