The General EGI Area

The lefthand navigation bar contains links to the general areas of this Knowledge Base:

  • EGI Functions
This area is dedicated to the discussion of the functions (roles) that EGI should fulfill, and to the definition of these functions.
  • Use Cases
This area is being built to contain all the use cases gathered in relation to e-Infrastructures. The current list does not yet include the use cases that WP2 is gathering from the representatives of NGIs and related projects. These will be added - and this area considerably expanded - in the very near future.
  • European Projects
In this area we describe some of the major e-Infrastructure projects in Europe. These include EGEE, DEISA, OMII-Europe, etc.
  • Application Areas
This area aims to document all Grid-related activities, projects and Virtual Organisations, organised by application area (e.g. High Energy Physics, Biomedicine, Humanities, ...), with particular emphasis on European activities.
  • Legal Options
This area is dedicated to the work of our legal team.
  • Internal
This area is only visible to logged in registered users.
